Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
Visitation situation
My ex husband had his bi-monthly visitation with my two children this past weekend. I have full custody of the children. I found out from my 6 year old daughter that my ex's girlfriend showered with my daughter. This is not something we do at home and I would like some advice how to handle the situation and how to prevent this does not happen again. This is inappropriate behavior and unacceptable to me. To Whom It May Concern:
First of all I believe this is an issue that you must address with your ex-husband so that he knows your feelings on it. Request that he not allow such behavior and if it continues after that point, you may be able to limit his visitation due to endangerment. However, endangerment is not easily proven. You will need to prove some psychological, emotional, or physical harm that this caused your children. If you have additional questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
