The answer to your question depends on the full facts of the matter. I myself would need to ask you several further questions about your situation to try to clarify what is the nature of the issue. In certain circumstances one divorced parent may change the address of a child without notifying his/her former spouse.

In other circumstances, it may happen that one divorced parent wrongfully makes a change of address for the child. In the event of a wrongful change of address of a child the 'harmed' parent may well take certain legal action to rectify the wrong and to seek to prevent further wrongs from occurring. Oftentimes there are multiple issues (not just the one problem regarding an address change) and I will actually address several problems with the client.

I recommend you phone several family law attorneys in choosing an attorney to help you because it is keenly important that you feel a sense of great trust with the attorney you select to help you.
