Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

I am seeing a woman who is divorced. Her divorce decree allows her to receive ongoing monthly marital support payments from her ex husband which she will continue to receive until his retirement. She is then entitled to some amount of his retirement earnings as well (requires something called a "denovo review"?).

If she remarries, she loses all of that.

I have been divorced for 20 years and have no ties to my ex wife.

If we were to move in together but not get married, could that in any way jeopardize the agreement she is currently under?

Without seeing the decree, it is not possible to answer with any authority. However, in most cases, even peranent spousal suport awards are modifiable if there is a substantial change in circumstance. That may occur if the recipient co-habitates with another thereby contributing presumptively to the fixed monthly expenses related to pay fir and maintaining a home.
