Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

I want to write a will to outline the care of my children if I should die while they are minors. My situation is complicated I have a daughter and her father and I not together nor were we ever married. I am married now and am pregnant with my second child. I want to have child cared for by thier fathers but I also want my parents to be allowed a weekly sleepover with them so the children can remain close and so my parents are able to continue having a relationship with them. My question is how complicated of a will is this? And do I need an attorney to do this will?

While you can express your wishes in a Will regarding your parents contact with your children, they will not be binding. Ultimately, the parent that has care of the children must agree or the grandparents must file a petition in court to establish grandparenting time.
