Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Minnesota
I had an accident in one judicial district. Can that case be in another judicial district? Our horse was killed on the freeway. Their insurance company wants to bill me 5059 dollars for damage to the Car that hit the horse. They claim my negligence however our fences were checked daily, and it was 4:15am and there was very dense Fog. I maintain that to kill a large horse that this driver could have avoided the accident if he was driving at a speed according to existing driving conditions. My main question is, 'Can the case be decided in a jurisdiction that is 150 miles from where the accident happened?'
