Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Minnesota

consolidation court

2 years ago my ex-boyfriend and I agree to transfer his bills from his credit card into my credit card, because he couldn't pay for it. Which I'm now stuck with his bills under my credit card. He promised to pay it off, but I haven't seen a penny since we seperated. If I was to take him to court, would I possibly get him to pay for his bills. That's all I want. Another thing is that he is from a different county than me. Which county should I take him to. Please help, cause I'm tired of living from pay-check to pay-check and struggling to pay for my school tuition.

Thank you-

Re: consolidation court

How much does he owe you?

Anything in writing (IOU Etc.)?

You might have to sue in small claims court, or as your attorney I could write him a Demand Letter, which sometimes does the job.
