How can I find out who posted a very defaming personal ad with my phone number on craigs list

A proto-Complaint can be drafted ( usually by an experienced attorney) and a Subpoena ordered from the relevant court of proper jurisdiction. Then Craigslist will need to issue the account verified information and a Demand/Cease & Desist letter issued by your attorney to the offending party.
A lawsuit can follow if they fail to obey.
