Personal Reposession of unpaid Vehicle

I sold a motorcycle, the buyer still owes me $500 and is unwilling to pay, is it legal to go and reposses the bike, if the title has not been transferred and still in my name?

Not without a Security Agreement. Have you tried a letter from an attorney?
