Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Minnesota
Unsent product
I am not sure where to post this but here's my problem. I bought some fuel injectors from a guy that lives in Connecticut. I paid him and he waited for my check to clear before saying that he will send me the fuel injectors. However, after a week that he told me he has sent them, I never received them. I emailed him and asked him what's going on. He simply said he doesn't know and that he sent them already and for me to ''keep an eye on them.'' After another week, I asked for a refund. He never responded. I continued to email him for information but he continued to ignore me. So my question is what can I do to get my money back? Is there anything I can do?

If it involves a relatively small amount of money, you may be SOL - to use a legal term. You could hire a local lawyer in the city where he lives to try and collect this debt, but that would probably cost more than it would be worth - and if you agreed to have this mailed without insurance, you may have trouble proving that it's this guy's fault and not the post office.
Try contacting the Connecticut Attorney General's office. You can file a complaint with them. Also try the local Better Business Bureau, where you can also file a complaint.
You could call it fraud and call the police in the city where he lives, but police usually don't like to get involved in such things.
Good luck.
