Legal Question in Immigration Law in Minnesota

I'm currently on a visitors visa which has expired. I no longer wish to return to my home country but would rather live here. How would I go about making the necessary changes such as pursuing a different kind of visa? My i94 is expired but my passport is still valid.

Marrying an us citizen or applying for asylum if eligilble are your only options !!!!
