Legal Question in Immigration Law in Minnesota
Bringing my parents over to US
I am a legal immigrant on an H1B Visa with my Green Card processing in the final stages. I would like to know what my options are as to bringing my parents over to live with me. I know that i can bring them over for a short duration on a visiting visa. What are my options to bring them over on a more permanent status? Does it get better if and when i get my green card? Can i sponsor my parents if i have a green card or do i have to be a citizen?
It would be great if any one could spell out all the options i have with relation to this? Is there anything else which i could do to bring them over?
