Legal Question in Immigration Law in Minnesota

Citizenship

My boyfriend and I recently found out we are pregnant. After discovering this I learned that he is not a citizen and his visa is expired. What do we need to do, or where do we start to make him one? Also does us having a child automatically make him a citizen?

Re: Citizenship

Having a child together does not automatically make your boyfriend a citizen. In fact, it doesn't bestow any immigration status at all. If you are planning to marry, we may be able to help fix his status.

Please call me to meet and discuss your case. We have helped many people in similar situations.

Re: Citizenship

Assuming you are a US citizen, you may apply for an adjustment of status application.
