Legal Question in Immigration Law in Minnesota

H1B visa renewal.

I have h1b visa. The h1b petition is

approved until Sep-2008 but the visa in

my passport is expiring in Aug-2006. I

wonder if I need to renew visa in passport

and how?

Generally, your I-94 document determines your period of authorized stay, regardless of the date on your visa or petition. You would only need to renew your visa if you departed the U.S. and sought to return.
