Legal Question in Immigration Law in Minnesota

I-797 C Disposition of Arrest

As part of the biometrics appointment, I am required to bring a disposition of arrest(s). I have never been arrested in the United States. Do I need to go to a police station and have a criminal background check done and then provide the results at the biometrics appointment?

Re: I-797 C Disposition of Arrest

Dear Inquirer:

The I-797 is a Form request, made to apply to all people. You only need to bring arrest records if you have been arrested. No police clearance is necessary to prove the absence of a record.

You are not required to bring arrest dispositions. You only need to bring the I-797 appointment notice and they will fingerprint you at the biometrics appointment.
