Re: US immigration

He can immigrate to the US as your K-1 fiancee. The process takes about 6-7 months to complete. After he enters the US, you would need to marry and apply for his green card.

Re: US immigration

I presume you are a U.S. citizen; I also presume that you intend to marry this young man, yes? If such is the case, then, the quickest way would be to petition for him on a fiance visa. Since you say "boyfriend," it sounds as if you already know each other fairly well. If a fiance petition is granted, then you have 90 days in which to get married, or he has to return. If he obtains a visitor's visa, he can probably visit for about 6 months, but then he has to return. Neither of these options will allow for a long term "living together." He can apply for a job in the U.S. and the company could petition for him to enter the U.S. If he is highly skilled in any profession or artistic endeavor, he can enter on an O or P visa. But if he just wants to land over here, it simply is not that easy. Get to a good lawyer before you do anything, and the best of luck to you both.
