Are you on a J or F visa? If you are on a J visa with a two year home residency requirement you may be able to have that waived. Please email or call my office if you would like to discuss your situation further. Thanks.

Re: J-1 married to a US
You may have difficulty traveling as an F-1 once you are married to a U.S. citizen. The reason is that an F-1 cannot have "immigrant intent." Your marriage could trigger a denial of entry into the country.
Have you considered a waiver of your 2 year foreign residence requirement"
