Legal Question in Immigration Law in Minnesota

L1b to H1b

Hi,

I have a strange situation here....

1) I am working with company A on L1 visa with I94 expiry as next year july

2) I have applied for H1B visa for Year 2006 quota. I haven't received the approval yet

3) My husband is working in US on H1b visa

4) My employer doesnot have project for me from next month

To continue staying in US

My questions are

1) Do i need to apply for H4 visa as i haven't got my approval notice for H1B?

2) If i apply for H4 will it affect my H1B visa that i have applied for ???

3) Can i continue staying here without applying for H4 ???

You can stay here while your H1B petition is pending.
