Legal Question in Immigration Law in Minnesota

LLC on for H1B holder

I am currently on H1B visa and I am

willing to found an LLC. I sure may not

work in there, so the question is if it is

possible that founded LLC doesn't have

any employees or do I have to hire

somebody to perform all functions in

the company (I don't really want that).

Thanks.

While you are allowed to form the LLC and own the company, you are not allowed to work for the company without proper immigration authorization. We are a Minnesota law office handling both immigration and business issues. If you would like further assistance, please feel free to contact me.
