Marriage with a foreign national

I want to marry a girl from Minnesota - USA, she wants to come to india in a couple of months, How soon would i get a visa to go back with her? what are the formalities ?

In my opinion you will have to apply for a spouse visa.The time period will depend on your priority number in the list.However you can always accompany your wife on a tourist visa andstay there upto 6months at a stretch while your application is being processed.
