Legal Question in Immigration Law in Minnesota

marriage fraud protocol

Hi there. I have two questions.

Background: US citizen marries African (non-citizen)

1) If paperwork/fingerprints were filed in May 2001, how long until the initial interview?

2) If the INS determines that the marriage is not ''bona fide'' - what happens to the non-citizen? Can he appeal the decision?

Thank you for your help.

Re: marriage fraud protocol

If you filed in Bloomington, Minnesota, you should not expect any information until December 2001. Yes, you can appeal.
