Legal Question in Immigration Law in Minnesota

We are having troubles receiving our USCIS mail at our apartment complex mailbox. So far, two notices have been returned as undeliverable by the Post Office. Is it okay if we change our mailing address to a Post Office box that we want to purchase at our local Post Office? Would this raise any flags on our case (Adjustment of Status marriage base, wife (USC))? Thanks

Hello:

Generally, one wants to use the address where they live. However, if you are not getting the proper notice, the AR-11 should be filed and it should not be in violation of any provision to allow a post-office box to be used.
