Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Minnesota

Legality of using unsecured wireless network

What's the state of the law w/ regard to unsecured wireless networks? Specifically, say that I lack wireless (access to the internet) in my home. I turn on my laptop and suddenly I'm on the web thanks to my neighbor's wireless network. His network ''came into my house,'' as a friend of mine put it. Do I face any legal consequences for surfing the web via his network? Thanks.
