Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Minnesota

Lemon Law

I bought a car a week ago from a private seller and I tryed out everything they said the car was in good condition but when I got it home it started chugging the engine light came on and the car died. The heat also doesn't work and they said it did. The antifreeze leaks and they said they just installed new brakes and they also don't work hardly at all let alone them being new. I was wondering if there is a law that protects me from that and if there would be any way i could get my money back? and if so what criteria needs to met?

Re: Lemon Law

How much did you pay? Did you get anything in writing? Did you have it inspected?

YOu will probably have to sue in Conciliation Court, to obtain damages.

Have you obtained an estimate for repairs?
