Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Minnesota
patent evaluation rip-off
I applied for patent and then tried to get patent evaluation from a company listed in the''good guy'' list at ''patent cafe'' website. They took $150 and I didn't get evaluation for 2 months (they promise 3-5 weeks). Then the one they sent me wasn't for my invention. After numerous calls and no response, I warned the I was going to complain to USPTO about them. They still never called me. I then filed a coimplaint to USPTO and in a couple of days they call me and ask me to rescind it and they'll give me my monet back. Well I finally got the check from them but didn't cash it I did rescind though.-- Now I belong to internet inventor club and posted what happened to me and they saw it and threaten me on phone. What can I do?
