Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota

bankruptcy to get rid of judgement

I sold my medical practice 2 years ago and the buyer refused to pay. I have spent all my monies battling this huge corporation and find myself broke with nothing left. They are counter suing me for several $$. I have no other debts then basic living expenses. Question ~ Can I file bankruptcy prior to any judgement and discharge this? Can they find a way around this to still come after me? It is business law concerning employment agreements and non-competes.
