Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota

employment point system

I started employment here about 7 months ago. I never received a employee handbook. July i was notifed there is a point system it was never explained. i then requested documents of my points it was never done. i just received a written warning for the points. i receved a hand book a few months ago(ihafe date noted at home). i hafve 8 points i get fired at 12. if you get ok'd to leave u get docked points etc. this is unfair. they will not take off my points that were prior to learning out the point system. i want to quit this employment is wrong and there is more to add on the situation. can i quit and collect unemployment. what can i do??

Re: employment point system

After review of the employee manual and consulting with you , I could advise as to your options.

Call or email for assistance.

I assume you are not in a union and have no written contract for a term of employment.
