Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota

Employment Wages

I worked for a company, American Delivery Wide, for 1 1/2 months. I was told that I would receive a check after the first month that I was employed. It is an at home job of receiving and shipping packages. I signed an amployeed agreement, along with my husband singing it since we were doing the work together. In the employee agreement it says that Compnay agrees to pay employee for services the sum of 2670 dollars per month. My husband and I did the work from June 27 into August. When they e-mailed me and told me the check was sent I was still getting packages. Then 2 weeks went by without the check coming. I e-mailed them to ask them about it. I also called them several times. I got no answer from the e-mails or phone calls. i now have some of there products still and I have not heard anything from them. My husband and I want to be paid for the month and a half that we worked for them, and we also want them to pay for the attorney fees that we will have to pay.

If they are a MN company I could assist. You may also be entitled to statutory penalties for late payment of compensation.
