Equal Pay

My wife and I managed a 60 unit apartment together with many tasks shared. The wife was paid a ''token'' salary of about $50. a payday and I received the lions share of the pay for about 9 years. Suddenly about 3 years ago the company switched our pay to be equal. Her pay was raised and mine was lowered. Is this a violation of the Equal Pay laws and has the statute of limitations expired?

Written contract?

Same total amt per year as before?
