Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota

harassment/verbal abuse

I recently quit my job as the general manager of the company was verbally harassing me. When I announced ''I quit'', he said ''good''. That is a direct quote by him. Am I able to seek damages from this company and/or collect unemployment? I have evidence that I have been to a professional therapist recently as well due to unfair treatment at my job.

Re: harassment/verbal abuse

I would need to know more details about the nature of his "verbally harassing" you.

If your voluntary termination was due to a hostile environment created by unlawful discrimination, your termination may be justified and allow you to seek unemployment benefits, and/or damages for wrongful termination.

Feel free to call or e=mail.
