Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota

I live in Minnesota. I was recently fired from my sales position. Before I was let go, I had earned a bonus of $1700. My former employer has offered 2 weeks base pay severance. Do I have any legal recourse to get the bonus?

This is a contract issue. I would need to review the contract or policy which provided for the bonus, re: terms, payout etc.
