Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota

nonsolicitation and confidentiality agreements

My employer had me sign, several months into my employment, a nonsolicitation agreement which forbids me to ''directly or indirectly solicit, induce, ...encourage any company employees to resign...''

If I leave, does this mean I can't have honest discussions concerning breeches of integrity with my coworker who is also my friend? Are we forbidden from being friends once I'm gone? Isn't this restriction excessive?
