replaced by bosses wife
I was told my services were no longer needed by my boss and was later the same day replaced by his wife to be trained in on my job duties. Is there any law to protect me?

You have rights under MN Law to Unemployment Compensation as well as a right to obtain the written reason for your termination.
Were you in a union? Was there a written contract?
