Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota
My son started work through a temp service today. The temp service is located within the co. he went to work for. He had a great day, and did good. He was told that. When he got home tonight he got a call and said he couldn't work there anymore because he has a misdemeanor on his record. Is this legal? Does he have anything he can do about it?

I am afraid that a company may always perform a background check and make decisoimns related to hiring and firing on that public record check.
