vacation pay
I am being laid off from my job in minnesota, is my employer required to pay me my unused accrued vacation pay?

Yes unless your employment manual or other contract document provides otherwise.
ALso, you will usually be able to receive unemployment benefits. You should always determine if you have other rights ( such as claims for unlawful termination etc.) and evaluating whether you should assert severance pay claims. Are you in a union?
