Breaking of Lease
My landlord allowed someone to move into my apartment without a lease. She then moved out and he said I was liable for the entire lease. What can I do? I heard the lease has been broken when he allowed her to move in.

Had you vacated the apt?
How did she get possession? I would need to review lease, but it sounds like LL effected a WAIVER.
I have been a LL 28 years.
