Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota
commercial tennant improvements
We are currently renting an office space that we have contructed walls to separte us from the other tennants, with the approval of our landlord. Our lease is up and we are leaving. Can we take the walls down or can we request he pays for the materials.

Re: commercial tennant improvements
Need to see your lease. You may well have to take them down, unless they have become "fixtures" and the lease prohibits their removal. Having an attorney review the lease and a quick phone call by the attorney to the LL could save future headaches.
