Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota

Need help getting damage deposit from Landlord

I took my past landlord to concilliation court to get my damage deposit back from him. He didn't show up to court in Rice County and the judge ruled in my favor that the landlord (defendant) would have to pay me $560. He had a month to pay me and that time has passed. What should be my next step in getting my money back from him?

Thanks,

Brian

You need to transcribe your judgment and then collect the judgment.

If he has assets you can then collect on them.

I have experience with landlords ( & I have been a landlord for 25 years)and can help you with that.
