Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota
Landlords and Tenants
In order to keep up on maintenance, am I within the bounds of the law to make a monthly inspection for damages to a residential property, providing a 24 hour notice is given?
Said inspection would be a walk through for highly visible damages, and not an intense search.

Re: Landlords and Tenants
I would want to see your lease to formally advise, but generally reasonable notice must be given for health + safety inspections or normal maintenance.
Monthly "damage" inpections might be deemed unreasonable + possibly harassment if objections are raised by tenant.
