noise violation

I live in Minneapolis, MN. Can I take any action against the building owners of my apartment for having excessively loud construction done in the apartment below me?

Re: noise violation

UNder MN Law you are entitled to "Quiet Enjoyment" of the leased premises. As a MN LL for 27 years, I have represented many tenants and LL's in a variety of issues. Here, the hours and nature of the noise would be of most importance in determining rights.

I would review your lease and draft a letter to LL for a flat fee. Beyond that a court hearing may be necessary.
