i live in an apartment complex in minnesota i recently tried to add my sons father to my lease he was denied.he is a recovering addict.5 years ago he was charged with possesion.he has since been through a chemical dependency treatment and has been in no trouble since i work on the weekends and need him to care for our son what can i do about this my lease states that i can only have 30 over night visits per year my hours are 3pm to11pm friday sat and sun i am not going to wake my 2 year old up at that hour to take his dad somewhere else isnt it true that it is discrimination to not accept him to the lease for past drug addiction

Need to determine basis for rejection from LL. DId they do background check or credit check? I have been a LL 25 years. THis would be billable.
