Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota

have renters in my house upstairs, paid through February, although they have not lived there since Christmas. One of the occupants is in a drug rehab program, and her partner is not there. He came back last night around midnight, went upstairs and came out with a small suitcase, got all his mail out of the box he shares with us, and most were overdue bills, and he got in a car with a friend and drove away. As it is March 1, and no notice they are moving out, or ever coming back, and they have furniture upstairs, what recourse do I have. How long do I need to wait before I can move out the furniture or what do I do with it? Of course no one will give us information about either of them legally, so I have no idea where they are going, the phone number I have is disconnected. What can I legally do? Their rent was paid through social services, but they can give me no information about where they are, if they even know. I need to rent the place to make money to pay some of my bills, so I need all the help I can get.
