Renters rights during an apartment building foreclosure

My apartment building is up for foreclosure in one month. Am I legally bound to pay my rent until then, since I will have unexpected moving costs now?

Yes. You are obligated to pay rent until move-out.You should have an attorney review your lease re: termination and attornment provisions which may affect your rights to continue to live there. Foreclosure affects the rights of the owner, but tenants may continue to live in the building with new obligations to the bank or owner after foreclosure.
