Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota

I was shown a model home never lived in beautiful apartment before I moved in and never shown the actual unit until after the lease was signed. The unit I moved into wasn't even properly cleaned, moldy fixtures, dirt and cigarette butts in the unit, etc. I have been here 6 of 12 month lease and feel trapped here. They have on more than one occasion walked into unit without notice, when they do provide notice they say they will enter between 8-5 Mon-Fri so we have to sit around an entire week for them to test smoke detectors. What recourse do I have?
