Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota
we signed a lease on a house for rent starting oct 1 for 1 year. the contract was post dated by all parties until 10-1-09. is there anyway to get out of the contract before it goes into effect?

You said you signed a lease. I would have to read the language but normally it is "in effect", that is legally binding, right away, and it is now Oct. 4, so it has been in effect for 4 days already.
Have you moved in? Did you pay rent or deposit?
