Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota

tenant rights

I moved into my home (renting) in september 2007. The owner sent me a letter February 9th stating that myself, my partner, and our 3 minor children must vacate and turn in keys by April 31st as her homes are all in foreclosure. My question is first is this legal, and do I have to conintue to pay fer rent until we move? I know that after a sheriffs sale you get 6 months grace period (refinance or sell). The sheriffs sale is March 20th. Please give me any and all advice you have. I have still not recieved my renters rebate info from her either. Am I owed money back if she is not paying the mortgage? Thanks for all your help!

Re: tenant rights

If you do not pay rent the LL may evict you and re-rent the space until the end of their right of possession.

You have no right to refund or remain on premises regardless of what LL pays Mtg co.
