Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Minnesota

For or Against me?

My husband was killed in a car accident, our insurance company had law firm A represent me on behalf of workers compensation.. Law firm A is also the law firm representing the other vehicle involved in the accident... Which the attorney handeling my husbands wrongful death is

suppose to be suing... is there a conflict of interest here?

If it is the same law firm there does indeed appear to be a conflict of interest. This law firm should be disqualified from representing either side in this dispute.

Contact another attorney to discuss handling your claim and have them address this issue with the current attorneys.

I would agree with the prior answer that you should have someone review this. The firm should not be on both sides.
