Legal Question in Personal Injury in Minnesota
One car accident
My wife was driving and fell asleep driving off the road. I was a passenger and received multiple broken bones. Can I bring a claim against my wife for her bad driving?

Yes you have a claim against your wife for negligent driving. You should contact an attorney who handles cases like this as soon as possible.
While we are unable to accept your case or provide you with legal advice at this time, I would be happy to talk with you further about this matter. My toll free number is 1-800-235-7600.
You should be aware that there may be a statute of limitations or time within which you must resolve this matter. If you fail to commence an action within the time frame established by law, your claim may be forever barred.
I hope this helps.

Yes, you have a claim. The question is whether you have insurance coverage for your injuries. We would want to review your policy to help determine this. Please feel free to call me regarding this case and I would be happy to answer any questions you have.

I agree with Mr. Carpenter and Mr. Johnson that you have a claim.
I once did represent a husband whose wife ran him over with a snowplow in their own driveway. It seemed to me at the time that the fact they were married reduced the value of the claim - because I suppose if we didn't get it settled, a jury would consider a claim by a husband against his wife to be a bit weird.
My client's wife pinned him against a pile of snow with the blade of the snowplow, after loosing control of the machine on a slippery incline. I seem to recall that he had a few "choice words" for her at the time of the event.
I would be glad to consult with you about this (952-544-6356). Good luck.
