Legal Question in Personal Injury in Minnesota

I scratched someones car in a parking lot of s store. When I looked at the damage you could barely tell anything was wrong there were two whitish streaks from my car. Any way the guy is saying it will cost 730.00 to fix. i dont belive him, is there anyway that he has to show me the estimate, or the bill for the repair?

Yes, demand that he presents you with a written estimate. If he refuses, than refuse to pay and tell him to take you to court. The court process will require him to present a written estimate if he wants to win the case against you. Forcing him to file a small claims suit, however, will expose you to additional costs (i.e. filing fees) and take your time and effort. So put a value on these items before you proceed. Good Luck!
