Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

Apartment building is made of cardboard. Is this part of the lease?

I have been in this apartment for a month and a half. I have a one year lease. I think the floors are made of cardboard and tin foil. I can hear every step that they take and they tend to stay up pretty late. They are not being deliberatly rude, the apartment is just built very poorly. I can put up with a lot, but if they get up in the middle of the night, thier steps will wake me from a deep sleep. I can hear the floor creak over the radio. It is rediculus. The management company has blatently told me ''there is nothing that we can do.'' They have not offered any solutions suggestions. I haven't had a good night sleep since I moved in.

Is there a point where the disruption goes outside the bounds of the lease that I signed?

No.

If the buidling uis up to code, thin walls and floors are a risk of the lease. You would have to terminate the lease and move to remedy the situation.
