Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

cancelation question

I was in a contract to sell my house with an agent. After a month of not being on the market and no sign in the yard i called him and he then put it on the market and Put a sign in the yard. But he never put a number on the sign to call and did no open house and had no brochures in the sign box. I called him on that and he said fine, he'll pull the sign and take it off the market and send me cancelation papers. It has been two weeks and i still haven't received the paperwork and home is still on market but he did pull the sign out. He also has not been returning my calls and emails.

Wondering what legal help there is to get this moving faster. I want to be done with him and it makes me nervous that it is still on the market with him.

Re: cancelation question

You may want to make a complaint with the state department that licenses real estate brokers. I believe it is the Dept. of Commerce.
